Biography
Yifan HUANG is a PhD student at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where she conducts research under the supervision of Prof. Yiwen WANG. Her current research focuses on exploring the relationship between multi-scale brain signals - including EEG, LFP and spiking activity - and their application in brain-machine interfaces. Yifan’s work has been recognized with several awards, including a 2nd Place Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE SMC 10th Workshop on Brain-Machine Interface (BMI) Systems in 2020 and 2nd runner-up in the IEEE-EMB Hong Kong - Macau Joint Chapter Student Project Competition in Hong Kong in 2019.
